Will Post but Kador and Satja's lore is more of a saga than some standard background.
It ranges from his Death, to his troubled sense of Faith, to the loss of his allies on Iesa III, then on to the Siege of Oyeman where he was so psychologically scarred he cannot stand in the wide open air anymore, then on too his induction into PIE, the conflicts on Raa, his dealings with Father Camdem's abduction, the horrors of Sansha's nation, and then up to this current day. |

Since I have to I'll describe them here.
Name: Kador Ouryon Age: Cloned 28, Biologically speaking he is 37 Rank- Templar Crusader Social Status- Praetorian Templar, Citizen Political Status- Aligned with House Sarum, Religious Reformist Appearance- Kador is of medium height with official estimates placing him between 5'10" and 6'. His hair cropped short, and is a dark shade of brown much like his eyes, he has an aquiline nose, thick eye brows, and well defined Amarrian features, (much like what you could consider an ancient roman to have had). He is slightly stockier than most Amarrian males, well defined and enhanced musculature, his physique is more that of a brawler than a runner. Quirks- Intense Agoraphobia
Name Satja Askarin Age: 22 Rank- No official military rank Social Status- Slave (Serving Templar Crusader Kador Ouryon) Political Status- Aligned with House Sarum, Anmatar Sympathist Appearance- Thin and lean by all standard. Satja is stringy, but in a muscular manner, in a manner many people might consider unattractive, she is by no means a galactic beauty, though under the right light her face takes on a life of its own. She has cascading raven black hair, full lips, with skin darker skin that is rich sun swept ochre. Her lips are full, on an almond shaped face, wide eyes, long lashes. What perhaps defines her more these days is how she wears her hair, it heavily favours her right, the long cascades covering the right shoulder and back, the left side being entirely exposed. This is due to her scarring from her younger years on Iesa where Kador saved her pulling her back to the shuttle during a blood raider attack. Quirks- Hates the sight of blood and suffering, feels a compulsion driven by her own scars to help in field hospitals.
Kador was Arkborn, a term for an Amarrian born aboard one of the Ark Class Carriers of the Empire. While is father Erdaeran Ouryon was serving the Empire abroad as a merchant sailor for Imperial Arms Shipping, Kador and his mother Anyithia, spent their days peacefully in the Sarum Prime System. At the age of 12 Kador's father was the victim of hate crimes within the Minmatar Republic while acting as a foreign dignitary, and was beaten to death by a gang of protesting Brutor Tribe, against the establishment of Amarrian offices within Republic Space.
Dealing with the grief Kador grew to hate the Matari for what they had done to him, growing up to become like many typical True Amarr are like. Capricious, Arrogant, and Faithful. His first action was to swear himself, at the young age of 16, into the service of the Sarum Household after his graduation from the Theological Council Education facilities. He journeyed to Mehkios where he was assigned to the Youth Legions, and then on to the Sarum 6th Imperial Guard.
While the 6th was no glorious regiment of ancient histories, proud banners, and the subject of songs and admirations, Kador served admirably and rose to the lowest commissioned rank of Ensign. His Company was assigned with various roles, from the protection of Sarum Family members, the recovery of religious artefacts, and frontline combat against Matari soldiers in the warzones of the Bleak Lands. In this time his hate for the Matari was tempered, he came to realise that they were merely people, not some threat or lower class of people. Just humans doing what they thought was right. Though internally he thought they were misguided and foolhardy.
It wasn't until his Company's deployment to Ammamake that his story really began. The mission had been simple, recover the artefact the Theological Council said was present. Augmented by a command of Templars the Company touched down safely and established defensive lines while relic teams secured and brought up the relics themselves.
Caught in a surprise Matari patrol Sarum Guardsman drew attention to themselves and were soon after under attack by and entire Matari garrison. Unable to hold the lines, the Theological Council abandoned the Guardsmen to die. Kador was killed in action that day, but awoke some weeks later on a forward Amarrian compound hidden on Iesa III. This is where be both discovered he was now Immortal, and where he met Satja.

This is where be both discovered he was now Immortal, and where he met Satja.
(( there is much more, let me know if you want to hear it))
Upon his awakening as an immortal Kador was immediately struck by a melancholy, in his death he had realised two things. His Faith was shallows and selfish, he had thrown himself in combat for his own spiritual sake alone, not considering how he might better serve the empire or why he deserved to be immortal, and secondly that he had committed an irreconcilable sin in being clones. He had breached the codes surrounding the sacred flesh and was not worthy of God's love.
While on Iesa III he spent many hours in traning, combat on the ground, from dropships, and from mounted LAV. Here he met Arryn a man who would change his life, and Satja.
Arryn was his senior a Templar forged in battle and respected amongst the aspirants as a commander of reknown, however Arryn was assigned to the technical corps as a logistics officer and as such even in hearing of his Kador never met the man. Mid ritualistic work out in the outer ground of the gymnasium Kador began to notice the inconsistencies between one of the automated medium laser cannons on the facilities defence grid, caught trying to reprogram the console, he was vindicated in that he had improved its targeting efficiency. Impressed by this Arryn asked Kador to be reassigned to the engineering commands, which he accepted, as a mechanic and scouting engineer.
In doing so Kador spent much time around machines, which despite himself he could not bring himself to enjoy.
At night he would spend his time in the cells praying to the small effigies of the Saints and the Empress, begging God for forgiveness hoping that somehow he might be allowed to be redeemed. (More inbound) |

Galm Fae wrote:I decided to give Niina her own dossier: Quote:Name: Niina Eskola Lai Dai Serial Number: 152643 Known Affiliations: Eskola Ergonomics, Caldari Steel, Lai Dai Megacorporation, Galm Fae, Guristas Pirates
Age: 22 Occupation: CEO of Eskola Ergonomics Height: 1.7m Weight: Refuses to have her weight taken. Doctors estimate roughly 60kg. Hairstyle: Swept shoulder length black hair. It is unclear if its apparent tendency to remain unkempt is a natural phenomenon or intelligently designed. Eyes: One Blue, One Dark Brown (Diagnosed with Heterochromia)
Place of Birth: Airkio VII - Moon 3 - Lai Dai Corporation Factory Race: Deteis Languages: Napanii, a variety of Lonetreck dialects
Defining features:
Facial nano tattoos in different geometric patterns. Tattoos trace down her neck before meeting at her lower back. Tattoo on lower back states her Lai Dai serial number. Pale, lightly freckled face constantly hidden behind her perpetually messy hair.
Overview:
Niina Eskola was born in a newer generation of tube children to the Lai Dai megacorporation. Minor defects in the breeding process led to a variety of subtle genetic mutations. Most are benign, including her heterochromia, double joined thumbs, and irregular menstruation cycles. Often however her genetic damage leads to health complications and illness.
The health complications proved to be more than the State funded orphanage she resided in could provide for her, causing her to experience episodes of drastic weight loss in the span of only a few days. Thankfully, her mutations proved to be her saving grace. Ilari Eskola, then an unmarried middle aged business man, entered the orphanage with the intent of finding a young boy to mentor and ultimately become his successor in life. When he caught a glimpse of NiinaGÇÖs two unusual eyes, however, he fell in love and adopted her as his own.
As she grew, Niina and Ilari became inseparable from each other. As the newly formed Eskola Ergonomics began to turn a profit, Ilari was able to pay to keep Niina healthy and well educated within the State. By the time she was a young adult, Ilari regarded Niina as though she were his biological daughter.
Their entire world came crashing down however when Eskola Ergonomics was found responsible for black market arms deals with Guristas pilots, who would pay the Lai Dai conglomerate he operated under by acting as privateers in low-sec space. To avoid facing further investigation, Ilari was turned over to State Provists without a fight. In one final act of love for his daughter, Ilari committed ritual suicide on the grounds that Niina would be left alone to manage what was left of his legacy.
Shamed and unable to operate a black market empire, she sold the majority of the corporation to a larger subsidiary within Lai Dai. No longer welcomed in the State, she retreated into the company of her fatherGÇÖs patrons in the Tenal region.
The money earned from selling her business however proved barely enough to keep her well medicated. She purchased a bar in the Shoashu Sasaanko spaceport to earn an income, but still had to subject herself to some of the worst services the universe has to offer so she could continue to afford to manage her frequent illnesses.
It was while living on this station that Niina found herself in the company of Galm Fae, an immortal mercenary and known terrorist. (Before their encounter, all records indicate Galm had gone MIA in the Kor-Azor Region during investigations of war crimes by the Seituoda Taskforce Command, his former employer.) It is believed that during their brief time together each had a prolific impact on the other. They formed a short lived codependent relationship that existed up until a rise in Gurista infighting in the region. Galm was forced to flee the station with the aid of fellow immortals in a nearby BetaMax fleet.
Recently the remainder of Eskola Ergonomics has been purchased and revived by Caldari Steel. The goal is obvious; rebuild a black market arms manufacturer to regain funds lost during Heth's rule. This has only worked in Niina's favor, allowing her to become the figurehead of the reformed company and leave Shoashu Sasaanko for greener pastures. While we can identify what products are being produced by market trends and intercepted shipments (biotic boosters, illegal copies of the outlawed GÇÿToxinGÇÖ series firearms, modified dropsuits, and Gurista outfitted armored personnel carriers) we cannot identify the source of these materials, where they are being moved to, or how frequently they are being shipped.
Note:
To this day, Galm values Niina as his ward. Any attempts to manipulate him should then be made by using Niina's safety as incentive for cooperation.
Dammit Galm in light of this we both fell into the Mary Sue character Archetype Trap. Shame on us as story tellers. |

Everything about her is completely justified in the Eve universe. I didn't go to any lengths to bend the world to fit her. Tube children are common for the deteis bloodline, and genetic damage is a real threat when you are using a biological mixing pot to make offspring. Moreover, Airkio VII - Moon 3 is a real in-game Lai Dai corporation clone factory. I didn't just make that up.
Look, I am fully aware of how OP she seems at a glance, but... Well lets just say when you are trying to sell a character you don't want to have its flaws out there on the tin.
I wouldn't say that either of our characters are Mary Sues. They just need time to develop. It is easy to judge someone at a passing glance, but frankly I find a lot more value in a character that slowly reveals they are less-than-perfect than someone who has no real depth and only one defining characteristic.
Having complex characters is what drives narrative. The only exception is in RP scenarios where characters can easily be defined with one singular character trait (the sniper, the veteran, the zealot, the mystical negro) and yet somehow seem clever and diverse in a group environment. But frankly, I find places like the IGS to be more of a staging ground for further fiction development than an end in itself.
I meant to say, not that she was not unique or OP only that somehow we both ended up using the same character archetypes and relations ships for our female characters.
I probably did not express that very well. |

Where Kador and your character share a protective bond, your female character can still fight. Niina's never been any good in a fight but commands a fair amount of autonomy from Galm. Hopefully soon I can shift that into my writing to show that off a bit. If anything, I enjoy the parallelisms. It should be interesting seeing how we both go about putting different takes on the same archetype.
Lol would it be odd to say that Kador is like Niina and Satja like Galm..... |

Hah! Nice! :) Yeah I feel like Demel is a "playful" and "lascivious" version of me representing joy, emotion, and half or so of the human sins while Maximia is more "thoughtful" and "blunt" representing the seclusive, knowledgeable, and the other sins, not that I a creep irl, then again, I really doubt we'll know what each other actually are like in real life. Just an idea, keep an open mind at what each other are like, your character can reflect who you are, but it doesn't mean it is you... (Felt like saying that cause when I rp on other sites, stuff like that flies around like crazy, it's just....gross) I get what you mean. In a lot of ways Galm and Niina are different aspects of a whole. You....I don't even know what to say to you. Now who will be Satja's mortal playmate? WHO? Oh its so sad...

Galm Fae wrote:Thank you for the feedback, it really does make a world of difference and helps me out to hear from someone else's viewpoint.
I get exactly what you mean about the aggression thing. A character who walks into a public area in a heavy suit and smashes babies with his face you can take (if you forgive the term) at at face value. But speaking with Ryeon made me realize that something that walks like a human, acts like a human, and seems at a glace human tend to become unsettling at best when there is just a slight twist that makes you wonder just how much of them you're seeing.
Galm's done some horrible things in his day, but the worst part of it all is that to this day it has never occured to him that he's been the bad guy in all of this.
Likewise, Kador lies at the opposite end of the spectrum. He is one of the most genuine characters in the summit and I want him to succeed! Can't wait to hear more from him.
And don't worry about the canon tie in. It would mostly be four chapters of Galm getting his ass kicked.
Haha succeed? Not if I can help it. Making my characters suffer makes them much more interesting.
You basically summised the basis of all modern horror in that paragraph which is why zombie horror is becoming so popular in the mainstream.
Something looks human but at its core is invariably not human is terrifying, which is why the group Sansha's Nation is of particular interest to me in New Eden, not to join or support but because the face of it is so human, but the entity itself is horrific in nature, which means when someone stands up to it, and rails against it you can see real courage and dedication.

Staring down the barrel of a bolt pistol, he smiled. The agent seemed to like this and instead of executing him on the spot, merely knocked him unconscious. When he came to, he was "asked" to join the black eagles at gunpoint. It can be assumed he accepted. Past that, information is classified. Approximately 1 year later the call-sign Heathen Bastard began to surface in clone contracts during Mordu's trials. Assumed/stated goals: Find some worthy opponents, become someone his father can be proud of, keep being someone his mother is proud of. Maybe meet a nice girl and travel the stars, burning down anything that shoots first. Fears: Only thing that seems to evoke a serious response is a threat to someone he cares about, or what seems like an unfair fight. Qualities: Always trying to make a joke, Steadfast, sometimes bull-headed, tends to negotiate with violence as a first/second response, sometimes helps criminals if they're being ganged up on by security, Noted self as an "amazon chaser" occasionally talks to inanimate objects(his pistols primarily). Has been noted humming the tune of "paper moon" as he inspects his pistols prior to battle.((specifically, a dubbed version. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-5fAz4rmOQ4)) I like it but you are very biased on you opinion to the Empire, we don't bully the Minmatar, in many cases it is they who cannot let the past go... either way that in unimportant. Nice lore I like the call sign.
Am Making my own Caldari character soon.

Scriptures and lore from the planet reveal that the race that had originally inhabited the world, had fled to this system, to escape the technology from their old world, that they feared would be the end of all life as they knew it.
They were a primitive species that excelled at the Art of War through crude methodology. They settled their differences with honor, and not by complete eradication of their foes.
This particular cities'' soldiers had been selectively bred over hundreds of generations to produce the most combat effective warriors their planet had to offer.
Though this was not enough, as their fears were brought to life when the weapons of mass destruction that they once fled to escape, had reached their new home-worlds' orbit.
Not having the adequate technology needed to defend themselves, their resistance was futile, and their race was annihilated swiftly, and without mercy.
Sparta, was the last city on the planet to fall to the tyrants great power. Not because of their battlefield prowess, but because the invaders had decided to use them as a mere punching bag to give their cloned infantry some experience for their next undertaking.
The invaders stripped the planet of all viable resources, leaving little or no evidence that life had flourished in this new barren wasteland. Then trekked back into the stars, with a sole mission to integrate the universe.
The newly cloned specimens were henceforth loaded unto a transport vessel, and prepped to be sent to the darkest region of Amar territory, for hopes of the great profit that may be obtained from them.
While en route to their destination, the transport was attacked and subdued by several rogue pirate ships, under contract by a recently freed slave race. Thus saving the clones from the eternity of slavery that they had been damned for.
The clones' saviors educated the Spartans of their past, and the story of how their world had been exterminated by the great war machine. Enraged, the Spartans vowed vengeance for their race, at any cost.
The Spartan clones, owing a great debt for their freedom, now live to serve their new masters with unfaltering loyalty, in hopes of achieving the one thing they had been bred for. Honor, which can only be obtained by defeating the most advanced and superior race in the known universe, and freeing the remaining slaves of their saviors, restoring their empire to its' former greatness.
There is no Earth so far as we know....and no such place as Greece......

No offense, great story though, as Adamance said, you might get some flak. I'm willing to roll with the idea, it's a nice ode to Earth and I like the idea. Yet my only concern is it doesn't talk about who you are. Who the character you rp as is.....you told the basic of your past, but what's your description? Walking around in a dropsuit in the middle of a population dense area isn't going to look good. IGS is a place for clones to relax or live the life of a mortal just for a second in their immortal life. So, maybe talk about what you look like, your name or aliases, personality. What makes you different from the crowd? Demel is right, I meant no offense.
But yeah we would like to know who you character is as opposed to what he is.
E.G- Leithe Askari my new Caldari Character is an undiagnosed depressive, lives apathetically like a shut in as a Disassociated Caldari citizen leeching off of the seedy underbelly of Caldari mega corporations. He is utterly uninspired and not motivated, but utterly brilliant at times. Neither possessing charisma or the will to follow blindly... he would naturally dislike Kador/True Adamance and consider the mans faith pointless. More often than not he takes civil security contracts and has a knack for breaking state security regulations which ensures to this day that he has not progressed up one corporate ladder or another. He lacks the sense of duty to be a true Patriot, nor is he callous enough to be a practical, and is not interested and mistrustful of the Ishukones liberalist stance..... he would be closest to a Patriot though if he cared enough about the day to day political struggles of the Megacorporations.

Artificer Ghost wrote:Short version because the normal version probably can't fit in one post (There's a reason why he is the way he is): Graduated top of his class at the Federation Navy Academy, named one of the best tacticians to leave the school. After 2 years of working with the FDU, he was recruited by the Black Eagles (G-FDU Black Ops division. Espionage, sabotage, and assassination). Got captured on a big job, was locked up for about a month, with 0 human interaction.* Went 'insane', but a special type of insane. He seems completely sane 99% of the time, but everything he does, he does without reason. Every single move he makes, every person he kills, SEEMS smart enough that he's completely mentally stable, but in reality, he kills because he can. Part of it is his hyper-intelligence, the other part is just plain crazy. Part of this crazy compelled him to do some f*cked up things, such as being intentionally captured by a Caldari battleship, cutting the power remotely, and then killing off each and every one of them, for no reason. For every person he killed, he sent a file to the Caldari State's database, telling them when, where, and how he murdered them. This file also included name, age, and where the soldier's family lived. Is now a Gallente criminal. Separate from any other pirating groups, but twice as dangerous. Every person that's sent to assassinate him is held back. He's smart enough to manipulate even the most dangerous assassins, to point the gun at their own head, mostly by showing them what he sees, and what he knows. *Now, to explain what ZERO human interaction means. If you were to go a month without ANY physical interaction (With anything but the ground and air around you), you wouldn't last 4 days. On the 4th day, your mind is begging, DEMANDING that you find some kind of human, or lifeform, or anything really, that will keep you company. On the 5th day, your mind is struggling to maintain sanity, even making fake relationships with inanimate objects to satisfy the need for any type of lifeform. On the 6th, your mind starts to create a universe. This is exactly what Art did. He wasn't in there for 6 days, he was in there for 30. Not only did he have time to start the creation of a world around him, he had enough time to complete one. In his version of sanity, the Federation sent him there to kill him. A suicide mission. The Federation is an evil political super-power, hiding itself behind the mask of freedom and justice. This is why he fights the Federation. To end their "tyranic" rule. TL;DR, Don't f*ck with Art, because he's crazy enough to slit your throat without a thought. What he looks like: https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-TGL2VyMTD-E/UnRGvsTKLqI/AAAAAAAAACk/rAq6sCY5PI8/Xavier%252520Sorraine%252520-%252520ProfileMy EVE alt is pretty much Art, pre-criminal status.
Lol my drug addict character went through months of something similar......but vastly worse I would say in some respects. I don't like the idea of mental scars defining the character though I would give your guys some flaws to make him a more gritty and realistic part of new eden.

Nice bio....one prickish thing to say......am I to assume...because I'm doing so now....that there was indeed an involuntary wipe by a Gallentean shadow corporation? You were kind of specific about that.
You have a very stable and respectable bio, you aren't shy about your alignment to the Gallente, you have a well formed back story which makes your character applicable and worthy of immortality, and you have some pretty detailed character designs.... only thing I would suggest, and I find this simply is just a popular character archetype....
Avoid trying to make your character an Amnesiac or the find oneself plot line.... its typically predictable and rather unfulfilling to RP to say the least. Your character is more likeable and more enjoyable to RP with when she knows where she has been, people can ask questions and you can answer.
I really like this character right now.

I really like this character right now. about the involuntary mind wipe i just added it to give a bit of mystery to the cause of the mind wipe i would have put other possible causes but couldn't think of any, and i want the reader to make their own decision as to the cause of the mind wipe i just wanted to throw a few idea's in there i'm thinking about adding a plot line gradually which will lead to her getting disillusioned which will lead to her tragic fall from grace, but my aim to let the reader interpret certain things by giving them multiple idea's of how it happened and stuff
Yeah and with a few really creative ideas you can make the knightly fall plotline something really intriguing....but then that depends on how you want to write the characters story.
I prefer much darker stories with my characters so I have a Templar who grapples with the darkest aspects of Amarrian cults and Sani Saabik scum and keeps on struggling through endless cycles of physical and emotional suffering, and a Caldari drug addict who was abused and made and addict by some very bad people, who continues his self medicationof Crystal X so he can function normally in his sick self haming drug fuelled vengeance against those who tore his family apart instead of simply killing him.

You know I do appreciate how hard it is to get into RP and while I respect your choice to RP however you want and in whatever way you want....... I find it hard to deal with and accept people who choose to RP the "Mysterious Background" Archetype.
And while there is nothing wrong with it, it sounds cool I guess...... its definitely not a fulfilling way to RP in my opinion. One of the joys of RP is creating and moulding that character you choose to channel and creating his story yourself. Some people choose to make their character and extention of themselves, others idealised version, other still something completely different and unique.
So I would say to you, if you would be willing to take my advice, I've done RP before, not so extensively as some others here on the forums but enough to know that yourself and other people will find the RP aspect much more enjoyable and exciting if you have a clearly defined character prior to opening so RP.
It doesn't mean you have to be an open book about your character but a rough idea of who he/she is can always be appreciated.
Not only that but I almost certainly guarantee you will like your own character more if you clearly establish your character, where they are going, what they want, what they did, why they did things.
E.G
Leithe Askarii (an alt of mine purely for RP) Bloodline:Civre Social Status: disassociated
Leithe is a known abuser of the stimulant drug Crystal X, has been self medicating for years after he was picked by CONCORD agents at a suspected Gurista's hide out in Lonetrek. Since then he has been in and out of State medical facilities, only surfacing to get prescriptions of anti depressants and do the occasional security work for small regional police forces.
Now if you asked Leithe about his life he would say
"You have the earn that right"
You can still play it mysterious but give your fellow RPers a little bit of info about your character with little trouble. And personally I find that the more open some RPers are with me about their basic character info the more open I am with them IC. Whereas those who have less information about them.... I am wary around.
Also I suspect you were in Dead 6 at one point from the Dead 9 Assassins comment....am I right?
EDIT- Yup I was right. Both in Knightz of the Round and Dead Six during the Lokun Listamenn days.

I have his experience with Heth's purge really well planned out, but I'm not sure if I should share them now or hope I can someday find time to get there in Warrior Nine.
By the way, the next part is coming soon, like by tomorrow. It's going to be fairly short, but that is because it is a lead-in to a much larger one I am working on.
YUS GIMME GIMME ALL THE WARRIOR NINE! Also I like to think Leithe was lucky. He didn't have to go through the purge under Heth's rule unless of course we have to consider the EVE timeline equivalently progressing to our own...in which case he did.....
